Brand new NZAgbiz Plant for Temuka

NZAgbiz have commissioned a new production facility in Temuka. This sees a shift just 15 minutes up the road from the original plant in Timaru. The Timaru site was originally a woolstore near the rail yards and has seen near on 100 years. The result was a tiring building that struggled to house raw materials and finished goods and had limitations in its daily production capcity.

The new plant in Temuka has a state-of-the-art blending operation for our premium CMR's and LMR's that should see a big increase in production. It also has a huge storage capicity on its 7000 square metres of floor space. All product testing can be performed on site in a specially built testing lab to ensure only quality CMR's and LMR's leave the site destined for farms. Production is set to start early in 2012 after full blend testing has been carried out on the blending unit.
